Best Interac Casinos in Canada 2026

Posted by Arthur Crowson .

An Interac casino is an offshore online casino that lets Canadian players deposit with Interac e-Transfer, the bank-to-bank transfer run by Interac Corp. The money leaves your Canadian bank or credit union, passes through a payment processor such as Gigadat, and is credited to your casino balance, usually within minutes. Withdrawals back to your bank wait on casino approval.

This page explains how that chain works, what your bank controls, why the statement name is not the casino’s, what to do when a deposit is declined, and how Interac compares with cards and crypto. It also shows which of the five casinos we rank on our list of online casinos for Canadian players actually publish Interac as a payment option, and which ones you need to check at the cashier.

None of the casinos below are registered with iGaming Ontario, so this page is written for players outside Ontario. We cover the Ontario situation further down.

Best Interac casinos in Canada 2026

The ranking below is our current top five for Canadian players. It is the same ranking we use across the site, so it is not filtered by payment method. We say that plainly because the honest picture is uneven: only one of the five, OnlyWin, lists Interac on its published payment methods. The other four publish cards, bank transfer, e-wallets and cryptocurrencies; where we cannot confirm Interac, we say check the cashier rather than guess.

Interac availability at the five ranked casinos

Everything in this table comes from what each operator publishes. Withdrawal times are the operator’s advertised figures, not something we have confirmed. “Check the cashier” means the casino does not list Interac on its public payment page; it does not mean Interac is unavailable, because offshore casinos add and remove Canadian methods without updating their marketing pages.

If Interac is the only method you want to use, OnlyWin is the one casino on this list where you can expect to see it before you sign up. Its minimum deposit is C$30 and the welcome offer is a 420% match on the first deposit, with wagering commonly cited at 40x on bonus funds, according to the casino’s terms. If a card or crypto deposit suits you, the other four are worth a look; our guide to crypto casinos for Canadians covers that route.

How an Interac e-Transfer deposit reaches a casino account

Interac Corp. is the Canadian company that runs the Interac network, including debit purchases and Interac e-Transfer. An e-Transfer moves money from one Canadian bank or credit union account to another, using an email address or mobile number to identify the recipient. It is a Canadian-only system: there is no Interac in the United States or Europe, which is why offshore casinos cannot plug into it directly.

That is where the payment processor comes in. A casino registered in Curaçao, Anjouan or elsewhere does not hold a Canadian bank account that can receive e-Transfers. Instead it contracts a processor that does. Gigadat is the best-known example in the gambling space; we explain the company and how its service appears at the cashier on our Gigadat casinos page. Other processors offer similar services, and the casino usually does not name which one it uses until you are inside the cashier.

The steps, in order

  1. You pick Interac e-Transfer in the casino cashier and enter an amount above the casino’s minimum deposit.
  2. The cashier either redirects you to a page that looks like your online banking login, or gives you an email address and a reference to send the transfer to yourself from your own banking app.
  3. You approve the transfer inside your bank. The bank checks your available balance and your daily e-Transfer limit.
  4. The processor’s account receives the funds. If the processor has registered Autodeposit on its receiving address, the money lands without a security question. If not, the processor answers the security question you were told to set.
  5. The processor notifies the casino, and the casino credits your balance. In practice this is usually minutes, but it is the casino that posts the credit, so a slow cashier can make an instant transfer look slow.

Autodeposit versus the security question

Autodeposit is an Interac feature where the recipient registers their email address so that incoming transfers are accepted automatically. Most casino processors use it, which is why you rarely have to set a question for a deposit. When a casino asks you to set a security question and answer, it is because the receiving address is not registered for Autodeposit; use exactly the answer the cashier gives you, because a wrong answer leaves the transfer pending until it expires and is returned to your account.

Interac also once offered Interac Online, a separate product that let you pay a merchant straight from online banking without an e-Transfer. It has been withdrawn for most merchants and you should not expect to see it at a casino cashier; if a page still mentions it, that page is out of date. Our guide to making Interac deposits at online casinos walks through the cashier screens step by step.

Why your bank statement shows the processor, not the casino

Because the e-Transfer goes to the processor’s bank account, the recipient name on your statement is the processor or one of its trading names, not the casino brand. That is the normal structure of the arrangement, not a warning sign. Keep the cashier confirmation email, which names the casino and the amount, so you can match it to the statement line if you ever need to dispute a deposit. The same name will usually appear as the sender on a withdrawal.

Deposit limits, declined deposits and what your bank controls

Three parties set limits on an Interac casino deposit, and they stack. The casino sets a minimum (C$10 to C$30 at the five casinos above) and sometimes a maximum per transaction. The processor sets its own ceiling per transfer and per day. Your bank sets the daily and weekly e-Transfer limits on your account, and those vary by bank, by account type and sometimes by how long you have held the account. The lowest limit in the chain is the one that applies, and the casino cashier normally cannot see your bank limit, so it will not warn you in advance.

A deposit that is declined before the money leaves your bank has usually hit one of three walls: your daily e-Transfer limit, insufficient available balance, or a bank-side block on transfers to known gambling processors. Some Canadian banks and credit unions do block gambling-related recipients; others let the transfer through without comment. If your bank is one that blocks, switching to a different bank account or a different method is the only fix, and we cover the alternatives in our guide to why casino deposits get declined.

A deposit that leaves your bank but never shows in the casino is usually sitting with the processor, pending a security-question answer or a manual check. Contact the casino’s support with your e-Transfer reference number; they can see the processor side and you cannot.

FINTRAC and reporting

FINTRAC is Canada’s financial intelligence unit. Banks and money services businesses in Canada have reporting obligations to it, including for large or unusual transactions, and that applies to the Canadian end of a casino deposit regardless of where the casino is licensed. For an ordinary player this means nothing more than the possibility that a bank asks about a pattern of transfers, or that a processor asks for identification above a certain level of activity. It is not a reason to split deposits into smaller pieces, which banks treat as a red flag in itself. Our plain-language explainer on FINTRAC and casino deposits and withdrawals goes into what gets reported and what does not.

Withdrawing from a casino with Interac e-Transfer

An Interac withdrawal reverses the deposit chain: the casino instructs the processor, the processor sends an e-Transfer to the email address on your casino account, and you accept it into your bank (or it lands automatically if you have Autodeposit set up on that address). The e-Transfer itself takes minutes once it is sent. The part that takes time is everything before “sent”.

Every casino holds a withdrawal request for internal approval. During that window it checks that your account has passed verification, that any bonus wagering is complete, and that the request fits its limits. The advertised figures in the table above are mostly describing this approval window: OnlyWin advertises 0 to 48 hours after KYC approval, Rooli 24 to 48 hours after verification, SlotsVader 1 hour to 3 business days. A casino can only release an Interac payout once approval is done, so the practical withdrawal time is approval time plus a few minutes. If your account has not yet passed verification, the clock has not started.

Things that make Interac withdrawals slower or impossible

  • Unfinished verification. Most casinos will not pay out until identity and address documents are accepted, and some only ask for them at the first withdrawal.
  • Deposit-method rules. Many casinos pay back to the method you deposited with where they can. If you deposited by card or crypto, Interac may not be offered as a withdrawal option even when it is offered for deposits.
  • Processor limits. The processor’s per-transfer ceiling can force a large withdrawal to be split over several days.

We go deeper on the approval side in our guides to how Interac casino withdrawals are processed and Interac withdrawal timelines for Canadian players. If speed of payout matters more than the method itself, our fast payout casinos page ranks the same operators by their advertised withdrawal windows.

Interac vs cards vs crypto for Canadian players

Interac keeps everything in Canadian dollars inside the Canadian banking system, which is its main appeal and its main constraint. Cards are widely listed but often declined for gambling. Crypto is fastest on the withdrawal side but asks you to hold a volatile asset.

Our reading: if you want a method that works at every one of the five casinos and you are comfortable with price movement, crypto wins on coverage and payout speed. If you want CAD and a paper trail with your own bank, Interac is the better fit, with the caveat that it is only confirmed at OnlyWin. Cards sit in the middle and the deciding factor is usually whether your issuer lets the transaction through; we look at that in our guide to using credit cards at Canadian casinos.

A note for Ontario players

Ontario runs its own regulated market through iGaming Ontario, and casinos that are not registered there are not meant to take Ontario players. None of the five casinos on this page are registered with iGaming Ontario. If you are in Ontario, the method question is moot: use a registered operator, where Interac e-Transfer is a standard option and the processor arrangement is the same one described above. Our Ontario online casino page covers the regulated market separately.

FAQ

Which of the ranked casinos accept Interac e-Transfer?

OnlyWin is the only one of the five that lists Interac on its published payment methods, alongside Visa, Mastercard and cryptocurrencies. Realz, Dragonia, SlotsVader and Rooli publish cards, bank transfer, e-wallets and crypto; Interac may appear in their cashiers, but we cannot confirm it, so check the cashier after registering before you plan a deposit.

How long does an Interac casino deposit take?

The e-Transfer itself usually clears within minutes once your bank approves it. The casino then has to post the credit, which is normally fast but depends on the processor notifying the casino. If a deposit has left your bank and is not showing after an hour, contact the casino’s support with your e-Transfer reference number.

Why does my bank statement show a company I do not recognise?

Offshore casinos cannot receive Interac e-Transfers directly, so they use a Canadian payment processor. The transfer goes to the processor’s bank account, and the processor’s name or trading name is what your statement shows. Keep the cashier confirmation email, which names the casino, so you can match the two if you need to.

What is the maximum I can deposit with Interac at a casino?

There is no single figure. Your bank sets a daily e-Transfer limit that varies by bank and account type, the processor sets its own per-transfer ceiling, and the casino may set a maximum of its own. The lowest of the three applies. The casino cashier cannot see your bank limit, so it will not warn you before a decline.

Can I withdraw casino winnings by Interac e-Transfer?

Where the casino offers it, yes: after the casino approves the request, the processor sends an e-Transfer to the email on your account. Approval is the slow part and depends on verification being complete. Some casinos only pay out to the method you deposited with, so an Interac withdrawal may not be offered if you deposited by card or crypto.

Does Interac Online still work at casinos?

No. Interac Online, which let you pay a merchant directly from online banking, has been withdrawn for most merchants and is not something you should expect at a casino cashier. Interac e-Transfer is the method casinos use now, via a processor. A cashier page that still advertises Interac Online is out of date.
