Expert Consensus
Royal Vegas has been running since 2000 and is one of four casino brands that Super Group operates in Canada under a single registered entity. In Ontario and Alberta that entity is Cadtree Limited; outside those provinces it is Baytree Interactive Limited under a Kahnawake licence. Same platform, same providers, same bonus structure as its sibling brands β which is the first thing to understand about it.
The welcome offer is C$1,200 across four deposits at 35x. That multiplier is reasonable. What is not reasonable is where the wagering counts: roulette and most blackjack contribute just 8%, and classic blackjack 2%. Clearing a C$300 bonus on roulette would require C$131,250 in wagers. This is a slots-only bonus wearing a casino-wide label.
The signal we cannot ignore: the Trustpilot profile for the brand’s international domain sits at 1.5 out of 5, and the dominant complaint theme is delayed or unpaid withdrawals after verification was already approved. We cover that honestly below, including why the number needs context.
Royal Vegas Casino Canada Summary
About Royal Vegas
Royal Vegas launched in 2000 and is part of Super Group (SGHC), the publicly listed holding company behind Betway, Jackpot City, Ruby Fortune and Spin Casino. Public listing means the group’s operational and financial disclosures sit in securities filings rather than marketing copy.
In practice Royal Vegas is not a standalone casino so much as one of four front-ends on a shared platform. All four run the same provider mix, the same four-deposit bonus shape and the same six-tier loyalty ladder. If you have an account at any of them, read the bonus section before opening another.

Licensing: One Operator, Three Regulatory Situations
Which rules protect you depends entirely on your province, and Royal Vegas sits in all three Canadian situations at once.
Ontario
Royal Vegas remains listed in the iGaming Ontario operator directory under Cadtree Limited, in the Casino category, with its registered site at royalvegas.ca/ontario. The directory we checked declares itself accurate as of 1 September 2026.
The site’s own legal footer gives the Ontario licence number as OPIG1237900, issued 23 June 2022, and describes Cadtree Limited as an Alderney-registered company. One drafting quirk worth noting: the footer credits the licence to the “Ontario Gaming Commission,” which is not a body that exists β the regulator is the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Minimum age is 19.
Alberta
Alberta opened its regulated market on 13 July 2026, and Royal Vegas is registered there too. The AGLC gaming registrant record lists Cadtree Limited β Royal Vegas β iGaming Operator, with the registration running to 2 September 2027. Minimum age in Alberta is 18 rather than 19.
This is a genuinely recent development, and most reviews of this brand still describe Ontario as the only place Canadians can play it under provincial regulation. That stopped being true in July.
Everywhere Else in Canada
Outside the two regulated provinces, the operating entity changes to Baytree Interactive Limited, which appears in the Kahnawake Gaming Commission’s permit-holder register with royalvegascasino.com among its authorised domains. The same authorisation covers sixteen other Super Group casino domains, which is the clearest public confirmation that these brands share one backend.
A point of honesty on licence numbers: the Kahnawake commission does not publish permit numbers in its register. Affiliate sites quote several different numbers for this operator and they contradict each other. We report no Kahnawake number rather than pick one.
Which Matters Practically
If you are in Ontario or Alberta you have a provincial regulator and a defined escalation route beyond the operator’s support desk. Outside them, Kahnawake has published standards and a long track record but sits outside any provincial consumer-protection system. Given the withdrawal complaints documented below, that difference is not academic.
The Welcome Bonus and the Arithmetic Nobody Shows You
Welcome Bonus
Royal Vegas offers a pretty generous casino sign up bonus of up to C$1,200 for new players.
100% Match
This offer is spread across multiple deposits β youβll get a 100% match up to C$300 on each of your first four deposits.
No-Deposit Bonus
Alternatively, new players can also claim 50 free spins on Classic Sevens as a no deposit bonus.
The Offer
C$1,200 in total bonus funds, structured as four deposits each matched 100% up to C$300. Minimum deposit C$10. Wagering is 35x the bonus amount. You have 7 days from opening the account to claim, and an unused match bonus expires after two months. There are also 10 daily spins for a shot at a seven-figure progressive, which carry the same 35x and expire 30 days after your last deposit.
A note on currency: the site writes “$1,200” and “$300” without a currency marker, while its FAQ confirms it supports CAD transactions. For a Canadian account these are Canadian dollars, but the operator does not label them, which is sloppy for a market-specific site.
Where the Wagering Actually Counts
This is the section that should decide whether you take this bonus. The published contribution table:
- 100% β all slots except NetEnt titles and progressives; Keno; scratch cards. Re-spin slots count only 10%.
- 50% β NetEnt slots
- 8% β all roulette, all table poker, most video poker, all blackjack except classic, Casino War
- 2% β Classic Blackjack, All Aces and Jacks or Better video poker
- 0% β all baccarat, all craps, Red Dog, Sic Bo, progressive jackpots
Now the arithmetic. A C$300 bonus at 35x needs C$10,500 in qualifying wagers. On slots at 100%, that is C$10,500 of actual betting. On roulette at 8%, you would need to wager C$131,250 to clear the same bonus. On classic blackjack at 2%, C$525,000.
So the honest description is that this is a slots bonus. If you are a table-game player, the welcome offer is not a benefit to you β it is a constraint, and the terms add that playing the 0% games before completing the playthrough lets the casino void winnings at its discretion. Decline the bonus and play with cash instead; that is a legitimate choice and often the right one here.
Two Terms That Are Not Localised
The maximum bet while a bonus is active is stated as “β¬8 per round and 50c per line” β in euros, on a page aimed at Canadians. Third-party records also put the weekly withdrawal ceiling at β¬4,000. A Canadian-facing site quoting its hard limits in euros tells you the terms were written for another market and never adapted. There is also a cap worth knowing: with a bonus in play, withdrawals are limited to 6x your first deposit, progressives excepted.
Withdrawals and the Complaint Pattern
What the Operator Publishes
The Ontario banking page states that deposits of C$10 or more reflect instantly, while “withdrawals can take between 24 hours and 7 business days β depending on the payment method you’re using.” No per-method breakdown is published, so we cannot tell you that one rail is faster than another β the operator simply does not say.
The bonus terms are more revealing: “Before any withdrawals are processed, your play will be reviewed for any irregular playing patterns.” That is an explicit manual review on every withdrawal, not an automated check. Payouts are returned to the account of origin where possible, and verification documents may be requested when you initiate a withdrawal rather than at signup.
Payment Methods, by Site
The two Canadian sites do not offer the same rails, which is unusual and easy to miss:
- Ontario: Visa, Mastercard, Interac Online, American Express, Apple Pay, eCheck
- Rest of Canada: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Paysafecard, iDebit, Skrill, NETELLER
Three corrections to what you will read elsewhere. Interac e-Transfer is not offered β the Ontario site lists Interac Online, a different and largely retired product. Instadebit does not appear on either site. And iDebit is only on the non-Ontario site, so Ontario players do not get it. The Ontario homepage also promotes MuchBetter as popular, yet MuchBetter is absent from its own banking page β an internal contradiction we could not resolve.
The Complaint Signal, Stated Plainly
The Trustpilot profile for royalvegascasino.com carries 1.5 out of 5 from 53 reviews, overwhelmingly one star, with recent entries through September 2026. The profile is unclaimed, and the operator has no history of soliciting reviews.
The qualitative pattern is consistent and specific: withdrawals delayed or unpaid after KYC had already been approved β accounts described as “under review” for a month or longer, and withdrawals reversed back into the casino balance. Several 2026 complaints name concrete amounts. That pattern lines up exactly with the manual pre-withdrawal review clause quoted above, which makes it more credible than scattered unhappiness would be.
Three pieces of context so you can weigh it properly. First, 53 reviews is a small sample for a 25-year-old brand. Second, that profile is for the international .com domain, not the regulated Ontario site β no Trustpilot profile exists for royalvegas.ca at all, and the distinction is material because Ontario players have a regulatory escalation route that .com players do not. Third, Casino Guru rates the operator 7.8/10 “above average” while simultaneously flagging “many unresolved complaints” and 42 direct complaints. Both things are true at once.
What we would take from it: verify your identity the day you open the account, keep your play patterns ordinary, and if you are outside Ontario and Alberta understand that your escalation options are limited.
Games: Why the Catalogue Number Depends Which Page You Read
We are not going to give you a single game count, because the operator’s own site gives four different ones. Its Ontario homepage says “over 400 quality casino games.” Its Ontario footer says “over 100 games.” The About Us page on the international site says “over 1,500 games.” That site’s footer says “over 400.”
The likely explanation is that the Ontario catalogue runs around 400 β regulated markets usually carry trimmed libraries β while the international one approaches 1,500. But when a site contradicts itself across four pages, the honest reporting is to say so rather than pick the flattering figure.
Providers, and a Naming Correction
The Ontario homepage names Apricot, On Air Entertainment and Pragmatic Play. Third-party records add Games Global, Blueprint, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, Ready Play and Spribe.
If you see a review saying this casino is “powered by Microgaming,” that is out of date by a corporate rename: Microgaming became Games Global, and the brand no longer exists. The marquee titles here are from that catalogue β 9 Masks of Fire, Amazing Link Zeus, Ancient Fortunes: Zeus, Agent Jane Blonde Returns β but the current name is Games Global.
Live Dealer
The live dealer lobby runs on On Air Entertainment with Switch Studios tables: On Air Blackjack, On Air Roulette, and the Real series with named dealers. The international site adds Switch Baccarat and Fortune Finder.
Progressives: It Is Not Mega Moolah
A correction that matters if a specific jackpot is why you are here. Royal Vegas does not carry Mega Moolah under that name. Ontario runs Gold Factory Jackpots Maple Moolah, described by the operator as an exclusive progressive, while the international site runs the WowPot network β Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon WowPot, Sisters of Oz WowPot, Sherlock & Moriarty Wowpot. Same jackpot family, different games and different names. Progressives contribute 0% to bonus wagering but are exempt from the 6x withdrawal cap.
Loyalty Programme: Six Tiers, Undisclosed Values
Enrolment is automatic at registration. The ladder runs Bronze β Silver β Gold β Platinum β Diamond β PrivΓ©, with the top tier invitation-only, and a 2,500-point starter bonus after your first successful deposit.
Here is the part to be clear-eyed about: points convert into bonus credits, not cash β they land in your bonus balance and therefore carry wagering requirements. The operator does not publish the point thresholds for each tier, the conversion rate from points to credit, or what the per-tier benefits actually are, describing them only as “unique additional benefits.” We will not estimate numbers the operator withholds. Treat the programme as a mild rebate of unknown value rather than a quantified perk.
The same six-tier structure appears at all four Super Group brands. Whether loyalty accounts or points are shared between them is not stated anywhere official, so do not assume they are.
If You Already Play a Super Group Brand, Read This First
Royal Vegas, Jackpot City, Ruby Fortune and Spin Casino are the same operator in Ontario and Alberta, and the same operator again under Kahnawake elsewhere. The bonus terms account for this explicitly, and the clause is easy to miss:
“Once you have received a welcome bonus at any of the Group’s member Casinos, you are required to meet additional minimum Play Through Requirements before you are eligible for additional welcome Bonuses at any of the other member Casinos.”
Read precisely, that is not a ban on claiming a second welcome bonus across the group β it is an extra playthrough condition before you qualify. The daily spins promotion is separately capped at one account per brand. So opening a second account at a sibling brand to collect another welcome offer does not work the way you might expect, and the terms are written to prevent exactly that.
If you want a second opinion on the same platform with a different front-end, our Jackpot City review covers the sibling brand with the longest Canadian history.
The Verdict, by Who You Are
If you play slots and want a long-established operator: the offer works. 35x at 100% slot contribution on a C$1,200 package is a fair deal, the catalogue is competent, and a 2000 launch date means it has survived every regulatory cycle since.
If you play table games: skip the bonus entirely. Roulette at 8% and classic blackjack at 2% make the playthrough arithmetically unreachable. Deposit without the bonus and keep your withdrawal unrestricted.
If you are in Ontario or Alberta: this is the version to use. Provincial registration gives you an escalation path, which given the withdrawal complaint pattern is the single most valuable thing you get here.
If you are elsewhere in Canada: think carefully. You get Kahnawake oversight, no iDebit alternative beyond what the .com site lists, and the complaint cluster is concentrated on exactly that domain.
If fast payouts matter: look elsewhere. “24 hours to 7 business days” with a manual review on every request is not competitive when other regulated operators in this market quote 1 to 4 hours.
If you already hold an account at Jackpot City, Ruby Fortune or Spin Casino: you are on the same platform. Check the cross-brand playthrough clause before assuming a second welcome bonus is available to you.
Whichever applies, set your deposit limits and complete identity verification when you open the account, not when you first try to withdraw. At this operator that single habit removes the most commonly reported source of friction.
