Expert Consensus
Casino Days changed hands in 2026 and most reviews have not caught up. Betsson AB completed its acquisition of Rhino Entertainment’s Canadian business on 3 August 2026 for €64.5 million, licences included. Casino Guru and AskGamblers still list the old owner. If a review tells you who runs this casino, check the date.
The headline number also moved. The current welcome offer is C$2,000 plus 100 free spins at 35x — not the C$1,000 that circulated previously. Currency here is not ambiguous: the Ontario terms state outright that “all payments to and from your Casino Days account must be paid in Canadian dollars.”
What makes it genuinely competitive is the cashout infrastructure. Most withdrawals are processed in about five minutes, Interac e-Transfer typically lands in under 30 minutes, and the catalogue runs past 6,500 games. What makes it worth reading the fine print is a dormancy clause that can take your entire balance after five months of inactivity.
Casino Days Information
About Casino Days
Casino Days launched in Canada in 2020 and is now part of Betsson AB, a Nasdaq Stockholm-listed operator, following the completed acquisition of Rhino Entertainment Group’s business-to-consumer arm in August 2026.
It runs as three separate provincial products, which is the structural thing to grasp before comparing offers: Ontario through casinodays.com/on, Alberta through /ab, and the rest of Canada through /ca. Different registered entities, different payment rails, different bonus expiry windows. Crypto exists on one of them and not the others.
Pros
- Thousands of online slots to choose from
- Strong welcome bonus
- Lots of deposit methods
- Excellent live casino offering
Cons
- No table games outside of live casino
- Would like a couple more bonuses
- No VIP program
Expert Testimonial
Three Provincial Products, Three Different Deals
Casino Days does not offer one Canadian experience. The differences are substantive enough that comparing it against another operator means first knowing which version you would be joining.
Ontario
The AGCO public register lists registration OPIG1545684, “Operator – Internet Gaming,” issued to Golden Nebula Limited, status Active, issued 14 August 2026 and expiring 20 December 2027, covering the site casinodays.com/on. Golden Nebula Limited is Malta-incorporated, company number C 115271. Casino Days is also listed in the iGaming Ontario directory under the Casino category.
One discrepancy worth flagging: the site’s own footer says the licence was issued on 20 May 2026, while the official register says 14 August 2026. We go with the register. The timing is interesting on its own — a new registration eleven days after the Betsson acquisition closed.
Ontario specifics: bonus validity 30 days, no crypto, no iDebit, mandatory geolocation, and you must be physically in the province. Minimum age 19.
Alberta
Casino Days appears in the official Alberta Registered iGaming Sites directory, operating under the AGLC and Alberta iGaming Corporation framework that opened on 13 July 2026, with a dedicated site at /ab. Alberta does not publish registration numbers in that directory, so we have none to quote. Minimum age 18.
The Rest of Canada
Outside the two regulated provinces the entity changes to Indigo Nova Limited, a Cyprus company (HE490808), under Kahnawake Gaming Commission authorisation CPA No. 01054. Payment processing is handled by a separate Cyprus entity, Privado Ltd.
This version has shorter bonus validity — 7 days rather than 30 — but it is the only one with cryptocurrency support and iDebit. Its terms list restricted territories as the USA, Netherlands, France, Dutch West Indies, Russia, Belarus and Curaçao; no Canadian province is excluded.
A note on licensing claims you may read elsewhere: Casino Guru attributes Curaçao and Estonia licences to this group. Those relate to the global brand, not the Canadian sites, which are AGCO, AGLC and Kahnawake respectively. We found no MGA licence for the Canadian operation.
The Welcome Bonus: C$2,000, and the Activation Step People Miss
One Deposit, One Bonus
At Casino Days, your casino welcome bonus is a 100% match bonus up to C$2,000, along with 100 free spins for the online slot game, Book of Dead!
Minimum Deposit
You must deposit at least C$20 to engage this casino bonus, and it is only valid for a week after you sign up for your Casino Days account. However, you can enjoy your bonus and free spins immediately.
Wagering Requirements
The wagering requirements are 35X, and you have the option to not claim the online casino bonus, but you should.
The Current Offer
A 100% match up to C$2,000 plus 100 free spins on Gates of Casino Days Super Scatter. Minimum deposit C$20. Wagering is 35x the bonus amount — not deposit plus bonus, which is the friendlier of the two conventions. The operator’s own worked example: deposit C$200, receive a C$200 bonus, wager C$7,000.
The step that costs people the offer: you must activate the bonus in the Rewards section before you deposit. Deposit first and the match does not apply retroactively. That is one line in their terms and the single most common way to lose a welcome offer at this operator.
Validity Differs by Province
In Ontario the bonus is valid 30 days. Outside Ontario it is 7 days. That is a four-fold difference in the time you have to clear 35x, and it is the most consequential of the provincial differences. The free spins expire in 24 hours on both, and spin winnings also carry 35x.
Maximum bet while a bonus is active is C$10 per spin, C$1 per line, C$10 total on card and table games.
Where the Wagering Counts
The contribution table is published in full, which is more than most operators do:
- 100% — slots and most non-live games
- 50% — a closed list of roughly 50 named titles including Big Bad Wolf, White Rabbit and Reel Gems
- 10% — all table games, and all live dealer games of any kind
- 0% — no-commission tables, video poker, several named roulette variants, and every Texas Hold’em, Casino Holdem, Stud, 3 Card Poker and ONE Blackjack variant
Live dealer at 10% is better than the 0% some competitors apply, but it still means a C$200 bonus needs C$70,000 of live play to clear versus C$7,000 on slots. There is also a list of roughly 100 titles you cannot touch at all with bonus funds — all crash games, all mine-style games, all Booming Games and Wazdan titles, and anything with an in-game progressive jackpot.
The Withdrawal Cap and the Clause to Watch
With a deposit bonus, the terms state you “might be limited to a maximum withdrawal value of 10 times your deposit amount,” applied at management’s discretion. Progressives are exempt. A no-deposit bonus, where offered, caps winnings at C$50.
Hedge betting and low-risk play are treated as violations that can forfeit the bonus. Worth knowing if you were planning to clear a wagering requirement efficiently rather than by playing normally.
Payments: The Fastest Cashouts in This Comparison
What the Operator Quotes
Most withdrawals processed in about five minutes. Via Interac e-Transfer, funds typically arrive in under 30 minutes, with the bank able to extend that to 72 hours. Zero operator fees. The Ontario FAQ quotes up to 24 hours for the bank rather than 72.
For context, that is a different category from the 24-to-72-hour pending review several competitors apply before the payment network even starts. We found no pending-phase clause in the Casino Days terms at all; one aggregator reports 0 to 24 hours.
Methods Outside Ontario
The published table, with deposit and withdrawal ranges:
- Interac — instant · deposit C$10–3,000 · withdraw C$10–9,999
- Interac e-Transfer — instant · C$10–9,999 both ways
- iDebit — instant · deposit C$10–9,500 · withdraw C$25–3,000
- Crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, USDT, XRP) — ~6 minutes · C$15–50,000 deposit · C$20–50,000 withdraw
- Payz — 2 minutes · withdraw to C$20,000 · Jeton — instant · to C$70,000 · AstroPay — 2 minutes
- Visa/Mastercard, Flexepin, CashtoCode, Paramount-Interac — deposit only, no withdrawals
- Bank transfer — withdrawal only, 1–3 business days, to C$50,000
Ontario is a shorter list: Interac, Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Paysafecard and MuchBetter. No crypto, no iDebit. Instadebit is not offered on any version.
One structural caveat on the limits: the terms cap withdrawals at €5,000 daily, €20,000 weekly and €50,000 monthly “or equivalent in any currency” — stated in euros rather than Canadian dollars despite the CAD-only payment clause. We report them as published and do not convert.
The Dormancy Clause
This deserves its own heading because of how severe it is. On the non-Ontario version, an account inactive for five consecutive months incurs “a fee equivalent to the entire account balance.” Not a monthly maintenance charge — the whole balance. Ontario gives at least 30 days’ notice first.
If you are the kind of player who deposits, plays a while and leaves funds sitting, withdraw your balance rather than letting it rest. This is the single most punitive term we found at this operator.
Games: 6,500+ Titles and a Genuinely Deep Live Floor
The non-Ontario catalogue runs 6,500+ games from 100+ providers — the largest library in this comparison set by a wide margin. More useful than the headline is the live breakdown: 1,000+ live tables, including 100+ live baccarat tables and 60+ live roulette tables. Live roulette stakes run from C$0.05 to C$2,000; live blackjack from C$0.50.
That stake range is the detail that matters if you play live. A floor of five cents on roulette and fifty cents on blackjack means you can actually sit at a live table on a small bankroll, which is not true at operators whose live minimums start at C$5.
Providers
Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live drive the live floor. The slot catalogue draws on Play’n GO, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Nolimit City, Relax Gaming, Push Gaming, Quickspin, Blueprint, Hacksaw, Big Time Gaming, ELK, Thunderkick, Wazdan, Playson, Habanero and dozens more.
Ontario carries a trimmed catalogue and the operator does not publish a count for it. Its provider list leans on Games Global, Push Gaming, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Relax Gaming, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, Evolution, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming and Inspired. If a specific title is why you are joining, check the Ontario lobby rather than assuming parity with the figures above.
Native iOS and Android apps are available alongside the mobile browser experience.
Trust Signals: Good Score, Real Complaints
Trustpilot: 4.4 out of 5 from 2,755 reviews, rated “Excellent” — the strongest aggregate in this comparison set. The distribution is 78% five-star and 16% one-star, which is a more honest picture than the headline alone: a sixth of reviewers had a bad enough experience to rate it bottom. The profile has been claimed since 2022 and carries a paid Trustpilot subscription, and it covers the global brand rather than Canada specifically.
Casino Guru gives a Safety Index of 6.9, “above average,” with 8 direct complaints, and judges the terms “mostly fair” while flagging three clauses: bonus-hunting strategies treated as a serious violation, forfeiture for low-risk play, and a C$100,000 daily maximum win limit.
AskGamblers is where the picture gets more textured: editorial rating 7.2/10 but a player rating of 4.8/10, with 55 complaints of which 40 were resolved and an average disputed amount of about C$3,337. Open complaints visible at the time of writing concerned delayed verification and an unreceived deposit.
Our reading: a 40-of-55 resolution rate is a reasonable record — it means complaints get worked rather than ignored — and the verification friction shows up often enough to be a pattern rather than an outlier. Complete your KYC before your first withdrawal, not after.
We found no legitimate Reddit discussion of Casino Days Canada; search results were dominated by affiliate spam and compromised domains, so we cite nothing from there.
The Verdict, by Who You Are
If fast withdrawals are your priority: this is the pick. Five minutes to process and under 30 minutes by Interac e-Transfer, with no pending-review clause in the terms. Nothing else in this comparison set is close.
If you play live dealer: also the pick. 1,000+ tables, 100+ baccarat, 60+ roulette, and stakes from five cents. Live counts 10% toward wagering rather than 0%, which is better than several competitors — though still slow going for clearing a bonus.
If you are in Ontario: you get 30 days of bonus validity instead of 7, which is the most player-friendly version of the offer. You give up crypto and iDebit, and the catalogue is smaller and uncounted.
If you are outside Ontario and Alberta: you get the full 6,500-game library, crypto and iDebit — but only 7 days to clear 35x, and you are under Kahnawake rather than a provincial regulator. Watch the dormancy clause.
If you leave balances sitting between sessions: do not use the non-Ontario version without reading the five-month dormancy term. It can take your entire balance.
If you are a table-game specialist: the bonus is poor value at 10% contribution, and many poker-style and no-commission tables count zero. Consider depositing without it.
Whichever version applies, activate the bonus in the Rewards section before depositing, finish verification early, and set your deposit limits at signup. For a slower-paying but longer-established alternative on a different platform, compare our Jackpot City review.
